Enhanced Digestibility is a new class of varieties developed by the Schillinger Research team to fit the special needs of end users for both feed and food purposes. Enhanced digestibility includes the removal of anti nutritionals such as raffinose and stachyose, two complex sugars that aren’t easily removed in the processing of soy and create problems for the gut in monogastric animals. This series also include new traits added to the mix such as reduced trypsin inhibitor, improved taste, and other minor but important nutritional aspects. These varieties are agronomically sound with SCN resistance, SDS tolerance, and a wide range of adaptability. Programs have the potential to be substantial for these varieties and growers will have the ability to use multiple products for the contracts.
e2810 combines the right package of agronomics for the grower with the right funtionality for the end user. Best performance against others on average soil types and conditions. This product has the enhanced traits along with extremely high protein which will allow it to not only create an extremely high value in the grain, but also be used in new high protein applications as well.
This will be the largest launch of all four products and has all the makings of a very successful variety specific or trait specific contract and will deliver value to all parties involved. Being the latest maturing of the four products, e3820S will be the main option in some markets. STS, SCN, and SDS tolerance will make this variety a winner
